The classes are run by artists with over 20 years experience who have an amazing passion for their art forms. The artists will inspire you to explore your creativity in a relaxed learning environment. These classes cover the basics as well as more advanced techniques. Dive in at whatever level suits you! The class is based in Unit 12 in Brixton Village. For drop-ins you create a mosaic tile to take home. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of mosaic which can allow you to progress onto further projects, e.g a mosaic art piece, plant pot, mirror frame, table top - we have all the bases for you to choose. We run this class every Tuesday as a drop-in class, but we also run 5 week courses for £120 or 10 week courses for £230. If you can\'t make 5 or 10 consecutive weeks that\'s no problem as we have a ticking system so you won\'t miss out on your sessions! All materials and tools are included in the cost. Get to know your sewing machine at our Beginners Workshop. A complete introduction to sewing on a machine. We will cover threading, overview of stitches, and basic maintenance. There will be lots of time for you to practice and build your confidence before we start our project to make a tote bag. Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means Circle. It symbolises the universe and everything in it! In this Mandala drawing we will teach you all the skills and techniques you need to draw your own beautiful Mandala. Mandalas can be as intricate as you wish and Ubie will demonstrate the techniques you may use to create a beautiful piece of work. This class is suitable for ALL levels of ability, the structure is perfect for complete beginners or for more experienced artists looking to create something more complex. You will be guided to create your own unique Mandala drawn on canvas (25cm x25cm) and will leave the course with your own completed piece of art suitable for display. All materials are provided. Olive Oil in the world, UK and Spain. The Olive Tree and the olive: cultivation, harvest, production, storage, labelling. Commercial categories. How to assess the quality by tasting the oil: positive and negative attributes. Healthy benefits of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil as part of the Mediterranean Diet. EVOO tasting and food pairing. We will finalise tasting minimum 6 oils and learning some tips on how to pair with different food!

Learn the art and craft of building natural walls without mortar. A one day, hands-on practical sorting material, laying foundations, assessing use of different shapes and sizes, placing through stones, building corners and placing top stones! It is also a practical introduction to the heritage and the craft. In addition, you also receive an extensive discussion overview, packed with 'How to' tips and information regarding the construction of other dry stone walling features. At the end of the workshops you will be able to safely and confidently, set out and construct a dry stone wall or other basic feature, understand DSW heritage and terminology used, distinguish various stone shapes, material and it's uses.
