Fancy having some neon to light up your life? Stuck for a pressie idea for the friend who has everything? Or just fancy getting creative for a few hours and doing something a little bit different? Here at Make Me Neon we have a real thing about neon and we believe that everyone should have some neon lighting up their life. During this three hour class you will be taken through each stage of the creative process and will be provided with everything you need to create your masterpiece including a glass of fizz to get the creative juices flowing (obvs!). We use 40 x 50 cm artist\'s canvases and battery powered LED neon wire in either pink, green or light blue so it\'s a far less dangerous affair than working with proper neon and it also means you can display your handiwork without any unsightly wires on display. You don\'t need to be very creative or artistic you just have to want to create something fabulous in neon and we can help with the rest. We use 2 metre long wire and a canvas that is 40 x 50cm so if you\'re thinking of designing in advance just bear those two things in mind.

At the heel end of the day, I need my glass of wine. Christmas lights for the brain. Bill Callahan For the festive period, our tasting will focus on wines that you'd love to buy as a last-minute gift for your mum, dad or another special person in your life. These are the wines that you€ would™ find on the Humble Grape members Christmas table the bottles you would open when you want to close the year on a high note. Christmas is all about friends and family, and we are bonkers about sharing all the incredible stories of our Humble wine makers (as with all our tasters). You could find yourself sampling the nutty and nostalgic sibling of the Riesling, a delicate golden gem from entrepreneurs carrying on a 300-year-old legacy, or a classic boutique wine from a UNESCO World Heritage site. Or how about a rugged and ready red that always seems to overcome the arid adversity of its surroundings, as if to say what does not kill you makes you stronger (thats a theme that fascinates us wine lovers). Our bars will be transformed into stunning Christmas scenes, as always, so do come along and join in the fun.

Anytime workshop/course: Intro to Felt Making - 2D & 3D

A really interesting and enjoyable course over two evenings. Heather made everything very clear and easy, provided great materials and ensured we all made something we were pleased with. I had never felted anything before but would now like to do more and feel quite confident about starting on my own. I'd also like to do another course with Heather. Highly recommended.

Anytime workshop/course: Intro to Felt Making - 2D & 3D

I loved this course - working with felt is amazing, the colours are beautiful and the end results were much better than I expected. I am not particularly artistic but I produced something I really liked. Heather was very clear and patient and the atmosphere was relaxed and very calming. The location was also great. I now know exactly what to do if I wanted to do felting on my own.

Anytime workshop/course: Intro to Felt Making - 2D & 3D

A really fantastic workshop! Incredibly insightful and taught in a way that made it relaxing and enjoyable. I took so much away from the experience, not only my lovely felted pieces but also the skills and knowledge to continue making at home. There was an abundance of beautifully coloured felts to work with and no short supply of tea and biscuits either. I couldn't have enjoyed myself more and left feeling very inspired.

Anytime workshop/course: Intro to Felt Making - 2D & 3D

We loved this course. Heather is a great teacher - informative, friendly and relaxed. And a great baker to boot (tea and cake was happily consumed during felt making). All (beautiful) materials were provided and the two workshops took place in a small group of four and an atmosphere that felt like an evening spent with friends. We learned several techniques over the two workshops and left feeling inspired and ready to tackle a larger projects we had in mind when first joining the course. Highly recommended and we would definitely join another course with Heather.
