The Host

Nesley is a London- based actress who, after her theatre studies in Istanbul and USA , attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where she trained in classical acting; playing Beatrice in “The Changeling,” Lady Townley in” Man of Mode,” Sir Toby in” Twelfth Night” and Gertrude in “Hamlet”. Nesley continued her training with Norman Taylor on “Lecoq Pedagogy” in the New York Movement Theater Studio and completed a Masters course in “Grotowski “physical theatre technique under Thomas Richards and Mario Biaginni. She has also worked extensively on Method Acting technique with Merve Taskan a life-time member of Actors’ Studio New York City and trained and collaborated with Yorgos Karamelogos ‘ Director of ” Physical Labs” London, eminent practitioner of Body and Mind Approach As founder and manager of the Studio Phren, Nesley gives regular workshops for theatre and business professionals as well as continuing her International theatre work. She is currently working on a play with actor/ director /Trader Faulkner called “An Evocation of Lorca \” a tribute to the genius Spanish playwright Federico Garcia Lorca, premiering in 2018.
