The world of gluten free baking can be overwhelming: rice flour or gram flour, xanthan gum or psyllium husk, potato starch or tapioca starch? During our three hour course, you will be led by a trained chef in understanding gluten-free flours, binders, & rising agents. In addition to taste-testing a variety of commercial gluten-free flour mixtures, you will make your own sweet goods:

1. Bespoke gluten-free flour mixture

2. Quick breads: courgette or carrot loaves

3. Cookies: chocolate chip & variations

4. Cake: chocolate cake & cupcakes

5. Sweet pastry crust: for pies & sweet tarts
