Sneak Peek

Description

Using a single block of lino, you will be guided through how to create two or three colour lino prints. This workshop provides an in depth introduction to the possibilities offered by reduction relief printing and the tools and techniques you can use. Guests will learn how to separate and register multiple layers of colour, roll and apply ink and experiment with different methods for lino printing artworks on paper. You will end up with some of your own handmade prints to hang on your wall or give as a gift!

It is hosted in our new, hand-built creative studio in the amazing Peckham Levels (2 mins from Peckham Rye station and right beside the infamous Frank's Cafe).

We are very happy that Jamie Temple is leading this class. He's a professional artist and has been doing and teaching printing (lino, relief, screen) for years! His work is inspired by urban and rural settings and focuses on multiple themes relating to community, population, sustainability, rational design and architecture, materials and craft.
