Silk shading also known as "peinture a l'aiguille (needle painting)" is used to create a shading of colour with different shades of thread.

This class is designed for students to discover the art of silk shading. You will learn the outline the counters of the design and also the long and short stitch. Afterwards you will learn how to blend three colours smoothly. Students will work to a floral pattern.

This class includes a kit with white fabric, beautiful silk threads, Swarovski crystals, glass beads and needles.
