Polly Crossman is a London based illustrator who works with ink, pencil and watercolour to create hand-drawn illustrations of all kinds. From bespoke wedding stationery and maps, to one off gifts and greetings cards.

In this introduction to modern calligraphy session, aimed at beginners, the talented Polly Crossman will teach you basic techniques in modern calligraphy. You will learn how to move the pen like an expert calligrapher and understand how to draw each letter, and form words. By the end of the session you should be able to write names and short sentences like a lettering pro!

You will learn basic techniques you can keep practicing and will leave having created your own framed inspirational piece, perfect for displaying at home, on your desk or as a gift!
