Let Go and Restore Balance Half Day Workshop for deep emotional and physical release and restoring balance in the physical, emotional and spiritual body. Ever wonder why you find it so hard to be still in a yin yoga practice, or where those sad feeling comes from when you practice restorative yoga? Why you don’t write stories or draw anymore? Do you find it hard to let people in, maybe you been called ice queen or ice king? Do you feel blocked or emotionally stuck? In this series of workshops each event will be targeting one of our emotional storage centres (our deeply inserted emotional memory card) within the hips, back/ spine, hamstrings and heart space. We will be connecting with and working through our three bodies: the spiritual, the emotional and the physical body to release old negative emotions and blockages that might be holding you back for progression within this emotional centre. Blockages within you can lead to physical stiffness, energy stagnation, a feeling of being emotionally “frozen”, lack of creativity, not having the “x factor” anymore and a reduced chakra “glow.” We will be working with movement, sound, meditation and healing to open up the stored files and finally Let Go and Restore The Balance deep within. We will be searching for the blockages within this area and the reason to why they might be there. Super scary!? Yes I know, but now is the perfect time to let go. Time: 14:00-18:00 Dates: Saturday 25 November & 20 January – Hips, Groin (& Legs) / Root & Sacral Chakra > Trust, Sexuality and Creativity Sunday 9 December & 27 January – Heart Space / Solar Plexus and Heart Chakra > Wisdom, Power, Love and Healing, Energy, Vitality Sunday 6 January – Back & Spine / Throat, Third eye and crown Chakra > Intuition, Psychic Senses, Clairvoyance, Cosmic consciousness, Understanding, Enlightenment, Healing, Creativity, Communication The event includes allocated breaks and water, tea and snacks that will be served during the breaks at the event.

Join us for a beautiful and magical night of intention setting, meditation, imagination and sound vibrations. The Star Seed Circle of Spiritual Harvest is to be done during a time when magic, miracles, and energy can flow freely between the dimensions and planes of existence - and our intentions are intensified. We take this opportunity to let go of the old and negative using the beautiful art of words and writing; Making manifesting spells to welcome our true Souls wishes. We will clear our energy with the ceremonial burning of herbs, meditate with the power of crystals and gems, and welcome in nourishing bright light as we enjoy the soothing sounds of crystals singing bowls in a heart opening sound bath. What to expect; Rituals and Spells Activities, Guided Meditation, Sound Bath with beautiful Crystal Singing Bowls, Light, flowers and a magical ambience, Free Flowing imagination and creativity and Tarot Cards. Halloweens origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in), in celebration of the new year on the 1st of November, marking the end of summer and the harvest before the winter, which was associated with human death. They believed that on the eve of this day, living and dead shared the same world and predictions were easier to be done and lit bonfires to celebrate and to protect them from the cold and darkness ahead. Christian Church made similar rituals and celebrations through the centuries, declaring the 1st of November All Saints Day and November 2nd All Souls Day, a day to honour the dead. The All Saints Day was also called All-hallows and the night before it, the traditional night of Samhain in the Celtic religion began to be called All-Hallows Eve and, eventually, Halloween.

Modern Calligraphy for Beginners - PL

I signed up to the calligraphy class on my own and I didn't really know what to expect before coming. I need not have worried though, as I was greeted in the studio with a smiley face by Sam, the co-owner of M.Y.O, who welcomed me to have a look around while I waited for the rest of the group. He offered me tea and coffee, and said I could grab something from the bar upstairs and bring it down if I wanted. Near and Far bar upstairs had happy hour on too (£3.75 a cocktail) The class was run by Polly, who was really great. She gave us a bit of background about calligraphy before going over technique. She was relaxed yet attentive which was ideal. Even when I was blobbing ink all over the page she was encouraging, and in the end I came away with a little card that I had written on in a small frame. I am definitely keen to come back to M.Y.O and also to join Polly's map illustration class which looks fab. A lovely evening and would highly recommend.
